Our cards are made from wood-pulp and are certified compostable and biodegradable to EN13432 *3 and have been independently tested for recyclability *4. 

When comparing the product-to-consumer environmental impact of everyday items or services switching to enviricard provides companies with a significant carbon and plastic reduction, and a good news story.

Our sustainable supply-chain

Enviricard’s state-of-the-art production facilities are equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure the highest standards of quality and sustainability for our customers. 

Our manufacturing processes are designed to minimise waste and energy consumption, reflecting our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint. The paperboard we use is called Invercote, it is produced by our paper partners based in Iggesund in Sweden. Holmen Iggesund creates the paperboard from FSC forests that they own and manage. 

The mill is rated Platinum by EcoVadis; meaning it ranks in the top 1% of most sustainable companies in the world. The mill runs on biomass and operates a zero to landfill policy. 

A recovery boiler at the Iggesund mill ensuresthe mill produces all the heat it requires for operations and can also provide heating to the nearby community. It also produces nearly all the electricity needed for the mill and is connected to the grid to be able to output excess electricity if needed to power other areas of Sweden.
